I was born in Hannover (lower-saxxony, Germany) on September 24, 1984 and grew up in Bad Nenndorf, a small town about 30km west of Hannover.
At the age of 13, I created my first songs using programmes such as ejay, etc.
You couldn't really call them "songs", anyway. It was more like the first steps, nonetheless, I soon realized: that was the thing! Making music! After some more very
amateurish attempts, I very soon changed to more professional software (nowadays, I use cakewalk sonar 8, propellerhead reason and ableton live 8). It all went by the "try and error"-concept. I had a long way to go to make my songs sound like the ones on the radio, so I figured I'd best get some literature on the topic and learn about how to utilize software, instruments, frequencies and stuff.
My first smaller successes came with releasing various remixes for friendly producers in the trance/house-genre - part of my former projects "lancton" and "sam noc" in 2006. However, I realised that it just wasn't the right genre for me, even though I used to be resident-dj at www.globalbeats.fm, putting on the show "varied vibes" (together with another two djs). So I changed my style, leaving trance and house, finding my way to ambient/chillout/lounge or pop, breaks and rock.
In the meantime, life went on and more milestones passed by, ex. dropping out of high school, one year of social service, and a one-year internship at an advertising agency followed by an apprenticeship making me a media designer for digital and print media . By now, I work as a designer at a Hannover based publishing company, and I moved in with my girl friend in an appt near the pretty Maschsee in early 2009.
Right now, I'm enrolled in advanced training to become a media technical specialist.
So it's 2009 now. Let's see what the future holds for me....
